“After a good dinner, one can forgive anybody, even one’s own relatives” Oscar Wilde

Ah yes, the post hangry bliss. That moment when you’ve eaten a delicious meal leaned back and thought “yep, the world ain’t too bad right now.”.  The group of us that went to Corsica, read up on yesterday’s blog here, went through that a few times. It’s strange how much the simplest of meals can be like a symphony of taste when you’re rather hungry!

Personally, I’ve always found food to be a great meeting point. Whether it’s that moment when you sit down to cordon bleu meal with all the trimmings or the sandwich you’re eating in the work canteen. The communal act of eating food together can draw people together- ever wonder why you nearly always meet up over something to consume?
