As we wave good bye to 2017 and wander into 2018; history is not made up by people, but their acts. What they have done, said, and created. Or destroyed.
It's odd how six months on it's the little pangs that catch me out now.
Shakespeare, as I say every week, is always applicable to the modern day. Women have, from Shakespeare’s time and to the present day, have always had unreal expectations placed upon them. In his time it was Goddesses, now it’s photoshop.
People often associate freedom like the Shakespeare quote, being free to roam and do as you please, but actually, it's the opposite. The freedom that we're given is under a multiple of different restrictions. To suppose otherwise would be rather short-sighted.
